Q: Will my print look the same as it does on the website?
The prints on the website are created directly from the actual digital image that is used to print the photo. There are, however, a few things
that can effect how your print looks that you should be aware of...
- Prints ordered with a border (the black and white border around images found on this website) will look the same as they do on the website. Prints
ordered borderless (recommended for matting) will, of course, not have the black and white border.
- Prints ordered signed will have a signature in black ink in the lower right corner (unless print is all black in that region).
- The images on the website are shown in their most common format. This is usually 8x10 for rectangle photos. Because other print sizes may have
different ratios of width to length, the photo you order may have a bit more or less than you see on the website. If you are concerned about how
your photo will look with in the size you would like to order, please contact me and I will send you a sample with the same
ratio as the print you would like to order.
Q: How do I go about ordering a print?
If you found the print you would like to order,
- Size: Choose the size of the print you would like to order.
- Signed: Choose whether or not you would like to have a small signature written in the corner (usually lower right, black ink)
- Finishing Options:
- None: The print will come without any backing, borders, or matting. This is usually the best option if you have a ready frame to put the print into.
- Border: The print will have the black and white border on it as shown on this website. If you intend to frame the print without any matting, this option can help make the print stand out.
- Backing: The print will have a backing board attached. The backing is the same size as the print. If your frame does not already have a back, you may need this. Choosing this option will add $2.00
- Framed: The print will be fully framed and ready to be hung on your wall. The frames used are black and the matting is white. See Ordering for prices.
- Add the selection to your cart.
- Finish the ordering through PayPal.
Your order will be processed as soon as possible and you will be kept up to date of it's progress via email.
If you wish not to use PayPal, you can contact me and with the details of what you would like to order and I will be happy to
assist you.
Q: How long will it take to get my print?
Short answer: typically 1-2 weeks for prints only, 2-4 weeks for fully framed prints.
Long answer: When a purchase is made the prints are ordered from a professional printing company and sent to me. Prints are visually inspected by me and anything that may be
necessary to finish your print such as matting, framing, and repackaging. Then the print is sent to you as soon as it is finished. This can be as short as a week from the time you order your print to as long as two weeks.
I will keep you informed via email letting you know the progress of your order.
Q: What is your guarantee policy?
If you are not pleased with the quality of the print you have ordered, please send back your purchase and I will refund 100% of the original purchase price.
If you found your purchase was damaged upon delivery, please send it back and I will replace it.
Q: Can I order prints framed?
We offer fully framed prints that are ready to hang on your wall. The frames are black and made of high quality wood. Matting is white on most photos. These are custom made for a perfect fit.
